ether.fi Referral Code: Is There a Bonus?
A normal referral code gives new customers no bonus. Our link is a partner link: JMRKT may receive a commission, you pay nothing extra and get nothing through it.
In this guide

In short: ether.fi does have referral codes and links, but a normal code gives you no bonus as a new customer. Extra cashback has only been available in time-limited campaigns, and the documents we read on 1 November 2026 name no running campaign for new customers. Our link below is a partner link too: JMRKT may receive a commission through it, you pay nothing extra for this and you get nothing through it either.
If you are searching for an “etherfi referral code”, an “ether.fi invite code” or an “ether.fi Cash code”, you will therefore find no voucher here, but the position as of 1 November 2026: what the link changes, what the card and Earn offer and where their limits are.
Commercial note: the button takes you to ether.fi through our partner link. The assessment in this guide does not depend on whether you use it. You can also sign up directly with ether.fi.

Is there an ether.fi referral code?
The former referral programme has been replaced by the affiliate programme. Existing participants kept their old terms only until 15 October. Today, members create their own referral links with their referral code in the affiliate area. The rewards named there go to the person making the referral; the programme names no benefit for referred users.
For you, this means a code on a coupon site is no proof of a benefit. If you are promised a bonus, check it in the official app and in ether.fi's promotion terms before you submit any data or money.
There are also Referral Campaigns: time-limited promotions tied to specific codes or links. If you sign up through one, you may receive extra cashback depending on the promotion, with its own rates, caps, regions and periods. Our partner link is not part of any such campaign.
| Example from 2026 | For referred users | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Spend and Earn, 3 to 15 February | Reward after $100 in spending | In supported regions, under its own rules |
| Share & Earn, May to June | 15% on food delivery and rides | Regional caps |
| GTA VI, 25 to 27 June | 20% on the pre-order | At most $20 per user |
The documents we read on 1 November 2026 list no running campaign for new customers. Check this yourself before signing up, because new promotions can start at any time.

What does the partner link change, and who gets what?
The official documents name no difference in card, tiers, cashback or fees compared with signing up directly. The difference lies in attribution: ether.fi credits your sign-up to the person whose link you used.
| Party | What the programme names |
|---|---|
| You, through our link | No bonus, no discount, no higher cashback |
| Referrer, starting tier | $10 per new member and $15 for high spending |
| Referrer, ongoing | 0.1% of your eligible card spending |
| Referrer, cards | 20% commission on physical cards and 50% on card fees |
| Referrer, yields | 5% share of Liquid and staking yields |
These figures apply to the first of four tiers; higher tiers pay more. We list them so that you can judge our interest. JMRKT therefore earns more if you spend more, buy a physical card or use Earn products. That is exactly why the costs and risks of these items are set out below.
There is also Pick a Perk, a beta for selected members. You choose one perk and one goal from the offers in the app, such as a cashback boost, a metal card or a tier upgrade. Offers and goals differ by account and are not guaranteed. One possible goal is referring friends. The operator's account has such a goal running until 1 December 2026: if two referred users each spend $100 with their card, it earns 5% cashback on the next $3,000 of spending. That is a further benefit for us, not for you.
The programme terms prohibit misleading marketing and paid ads for the link without permission. So you will find neither “exclusive” benefits nor an invented code here.

How does the invitation work?
- Open the referral link and register with ether.fi.
- Complete the identity check (KYC). Eligibility depends on passing the check and on compliance requirements.
- Order a card and activate it. The app shows you the price before you order.
- Fund your account with crypto or by bank transfer.
- Once you have made at least $100 in eligible spending, the referral counts for the person who referred you. Nothing changes for you as a result.
What ether.fi Cash does
ether.fi Cash is a Visa card linked to a non-custodial Vault. According to ether.fi, only you can authorise transactions, and the company cannot move your funds. However, the signer sits with Turnkey in secured environments, and exporting the private key is not yet possible. That sets the Vault apart from a wallet whose recovery phrase you keep yourself.
The card comes in four tiers: Core, Luxe, Pinnacle and VIP. Everyone starts in Core. ether.fi lists a physical card for Germany, Austria and Switzerland among others, but availability can change.
Four tiers and all features in the product profile.

What the card offers: calculating cashback properly
Cashback arrives in ETHFI, not in euros and not in USDC. In your account it first appears as “Pending Cashback”. After settlement, the amount is converted into ETHFI at the current price and locked for seven days; you then claim it yourself. Its value can move until then and afterwards. Another point matters for many people paying in the eurozone: if purchases settle in euros, much lower limits apply.
| stage | 3% or 4% on USD purchases | 3% or 4% on EUR purchases |
|---|---|---|
| Core | 3% up to $2,000 a month | 3% up to $800 a month |
| Luxe | 3% up to $10,000 a month | 3% up to $3,000 a month |
| Pinnacle | 3% up to $50,000 a month | 3% up to $16,000 a month |
| VIP | 4% up to $50,000 a month | 4% up to $16,000 a month |
The limits for euro purchases are USD equivalents, not euro amounts. Above them, the rate in Core, Luxe and Pinnacle falls to 1% and finally to 0.5%, or even 0.1% on euro purchases. In Core, the 1% band ends at $3,000, or $1,500 in euros. All currencies share one counter that resets each calendar month. Certain transactions and merchants are excluded, and a refund can also reverse the cashback.
Worked example: Core with payments in euros
Assumption: all purchases are eligible and settle in euros, and the ETHFI price stays the same. This is our own simplified calculation, not a promise.
| Monthly spending (USD equivalent) | Calculation | Cashback | Effective |
|---|---|---|---|
| $ 800 | $ 800 × 3% | $ 24.00 | 3.0% |
| $ 1,500 | $ 24 + $ 700 × 1% | $ 31.00 | 2.1% |
| $ 2,000 | $ 31 + $ 500 × 0.1% | $ 31.50 | 1.6% |
If you pay more than $800 a month in euros, you should not plan on 3%. The advertised rate is the first band, not your annual average.
Calculate cashback after fees yourself.
Why the card is interesting in the EU, and where its limits are
For people in the eurozone, the main arguments are paying in euros with no markup and the SEPA connection. Both come with conditions that short recommendations tend to leave out.
| Topic | What ether.fi states | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Paying in euros | 0% markup if the merchant charges in EUR | Feature in beta; does not apply if the merchant or terminal converts |
| Other currencies | Base rate plus markup: Core up to 0.5%, Luxe up to 0.25%, Pinnacle and VIP none | Foreign currency is not free across the board; the rate applies at settlement |
| SEPA deposit | EUR 0.90 in EURC, in USDC EUR 0.90 plus 0.15% | Standard 1 to 2 business days; usually the same day with your bank's SEPA Instant |
| SEPA withdrawal | EUR 0.90 plus any conversion | The quote shows the final amount and timing before you confirm |
| ATM | Up to $5,000 per withdrawal, 5 attempts and $25,000 in 24 hours | Declined attempts count too; not in countries where the card is not offered |
If a terminal asks whether you would rather pay in your home currency, choose the local currency. According to ether.fi, this dynamic conversion usually includes a higher markup from the merchant or terminal, and the benefit of paying in euros can be lost.
What to watch for in everyday fee lines.
Costs: what the tiers require
Core needs no subscription. The first virtual card is free; the $10 fee applies only in certain regions, and Germany, Austria and Switzerland are not on that list. A physical card costs $50 in Core, and this is exactly where the link can trigger a commission. The virtual card is enough for Apple Pay or Google Pay; at ATMs it only works contactless.
| stage | How to unlock | Free withdrawals according to ether.fi |
|---|---|---|
| Core | Default | Up to 10 a month |
| Luxe | 5,000 points a month, $15,000 in Liquid, 30,000 ETHFI staked or $199 a year | Up to 10 a month |
| Pinnacle | 25,000 points, $100,000 in Liquid, 150,000 ETHFI staked or $999 a year | Unlimited |
| VIP | $500,000 in Liquid or 500,000 ETHFI staked | Unlimited |
Points reset monthly. $1,000 in card spending earns 1,000 points, so reaching Luxe this way takes around $5,000 a month. The app shows prices and availability before you buy. Before an annual purchase, it is worth doing the sums: additional cashback in ETHFI fluctuates, while the fee is fixed.
Earn, staking and borrow: APY in the app and the risks involved
You can use the card without touching these products. For many people, though, Earn is the second reason to look at ether.fi. The figures below are a snapshot from the operator's account on 1 November 2026. They are variable and not a promise.
| Area in the app | APY shown | Type |
|---|---|---|
| USD RWAs (Real World Assets Yield) | 5.87% | Liquid vault |
| USD | 4.91% | Earn |
| EUR (Euro Yield) | 4.19% | Liquid vault |
| ETH | 3.46% | Earn |
| BTC | 0.77% | Earn |
| USDC in the account | 2.06% | Balance |
| EURC in the account | 0.66% | Balance |
| WETH in the account | 0.23% | Balance |
Partners share in Liquid and staking yields, including JMRKT. So check what generates the rate and whether you want to carry the risk. The app advertises “No lockups”, yet the help centre still names possible waiting periods for weETH. We do not promise any return.
- Staking with weETH: ETH staking rewards accumulate in your balance. Withdrawals do not run directly through the app and can involve waiting periods at protocol level.
- Liquid: deposits are automatically spread across DeFi strategies. ether.fi explicitly names smart contract, DeFi and liquidity risks, plus leverage and liquidation risks in some strategies, and gives no capital guarantee.
- Borrow: you borrow against collateral in the Vault. If the debt rises above the permitted maximum, collateral can be sold. On 1 November 2026, the app showed 1.42% for this; the figure shown before you commit is the one that counts.
The account protection named on the help page is not live yet and would not be deposit insurance. So do not plan on it.
Who should take a closer look
The card is interesting if you want to use a Vault instead of an exchange account, plan to pay from crypto, want to put balances into Earn and knowingly accept cashback in ETHFI. It fits less well if you expect cashback in euros, regularly pay well over $800 a month in euros and therefore count on a steady 3%, or want a fully self-custodied wallet with your own recovery phrase.
Compare at least one alternative before signing up. The MetaMask Card is non-custodial too, and depending on your daily routine, a simple card without token cashback may suit you better. We do not derive a ranking from the documents.

Frequently asked questions about the ether.fi referral code
Is there an ether.fi referral code?
Yes, members have referral codes and links. But a normal code gives new customers no bonus, because the affiliate programme names no benefit for referred users. Extra cashback only comes with time-limited Referral Campaigns tied to specific codes or links. This is the position as of 1 November 2026; the documents we read name no running campaign for new customers.
Do I get a bonus through a link?
Not through a normal link: the affiliate programme names no bonus, discount or higher cashback for referred users. That applies to our link as well: JMRKT may receive a commission, and you get nothing through it. Time-limited Referral Campaigns with their own rules are different. The documents we read name no running campaign for new customers.
How does the invitation work?
You sign up through the link, complete the identity check, activate the card and fund your account. Once you have made at least $100 in eligible spending, the referral counts for the person who referred you. The invitation changes nothing about your terms.
Does the partner link cost me anything?
No, the link itself costs you nothing extra. The official documents name no difference in tiers or fees compared with signing up directly. Costs arise regardless of the link, such as $50 for a physical card in Core or an optional annual purchase for Luxe and Pinnacle. The app shows the price before you buy.
What does JMRKT earn from the link?
The programme's starting tier lists $10 per new member, $15 for high spending and 0.1% of your eligible card spending. On top of that come 20% on physical cards, 50% on card fees and a 5% share of Liquid and staking yields. A referral counts from $100 in spending. Higher tiers pay more. Until 1 December 2026, the operator's account can also reach 5% cashback on $3,000 of spending through Pick a Perk if two referred users each spend $100.
What currency does the cashback arrive in?
In ETHFI. After settlement, the amount is converted at the current price and locked for seven days, then you claim it on the cashback page. The value of ETHFI can move. So do not count the cashback as a fixed euro amount, and check the tax treatment for your own situation.
What APY does ether.fi show for Earn?
On 1 November 2026, the app showed 5.87% for USD RWAs, 4.91% for USD, 4.19% for EUR, 3.46% for ETH and 0.77% for BTC in our account. This is a snapshot: the rates are variable and not a promise. For Liquid, ether.fi explicitly names smart contract, DeFi and liquidity risks and gives no capital guarantee.
Is the card available in Germany, Austria and Switzerland?
Yes, ether.fi lists all three countries with a physical card. A successful identity check is required, and availability can change for regulatory or operational reasons. Check the current position in the country list or the app before you deposit money.
How do I reach ether.fi support?
The help articles point to the chat icon at the bottom right of the help centre. We make no statement on response times or support quality because we have no reliable evidence on either.
Has JMRKT tested the card?
There was no structured test. The operator uses their own ether.fi account, which is where the APY figures and the Pick a Perk goal come from. Everything else evaluates official help articles and terms, read on 1 November 2026. We make no general claims about processing, everyday acceptance or support. The details shown in the app before you decide remain what counts.
