Editorial assessment
ether.fi Cash is a Visa crypto card on a non-custodial Vault. According to its help pages, only the user can authorise transactions and ether.fi cannot move the funds. The signer sits with Turnkey, and exporting the private key is not yet possible. Issuance in DE/AT/CH, Apple Pay and Google Pay are documented, and the help pages list a physical card for all three countries. This assessment covers the whole programme with Core, Luxe, Pinnacle and VIP, not just the Core column.
Core starts at 3% saveback on the first $ 2000 a month, then 1% up to $ 3000 and 0.5% after that. For purchases settled in euros, the 3% band already ends at the equivalent of $ 800 and the 1% band at $ 1500, with 0.1% after that. All currencies share one monthly counter. Luxe raises the 3% limit to $ 10000 (EUR $ 3000), Pinnacle to $ 50000 (EUR $ 16000), and VIP pays 4% up to $ 50000 (EUR $ 16000). Saveback arrives in ETHFI, is locked for seven days after settlement and moves with the token price: it is not euro-stable fiat cashback. The help pages also list 5% with ether.fi Travel and, from Luxe upwards, category cashback with low monthly limits.
If a merchant charges in euros, the help pages list no FX markup. The feature is marked as beta and does not apply if the merchant or terminal converts. Other currencies use the base rate plus a markup: Core up to 0.5%, Luxe up to 0.25%, Pinnacle and VIP none. The current help pages give no figure for the base rate. SEPA costs EUR 0.90 per EURC deposit or per withdrawal, and USDC deposits cost an extra 0.15%.
In Core, the first virtual card is free in DE/AT/CH according to the help pages and the physical card costs $ 50. Luxe requires 5k points a month and Pinnacle 25k points. Alternatively, Liquid holdings ($ 15000 and $ 100000 respectively), staked ETHFI (30k and 150k) or an annual purchase for $ 199 and $ 999 count too. Points reset monthly. The help pages list VIP through $ 500000 in Liquid or 500k staked ETHFI, not through points or an annual purchase. At ATMs, all tiers have $ 5000 per withdrawal, five attempts and $ 25000 in 24 hours. Core and Luxe include up to ten free withdrawals a month, Pinnacle and VIP unlimited ones.
Non-custodial reduces the risk of an exchange account but shifts wallet, smart contract and liquidity risks to the user. The account protection listed in the help table is not live yet. Comparing the columns through the Core row alone underestimates differences in caps, FX and points.
Whether a referral link gives you anything, what APY the app shows and what risks Earn carries is covered in the guide to the ether.fi referral code.

If you want Saveback without a ladder and without membership points, compare them Gnosis Pay Card with 0% saveback and weekly gCRC limits. All column values — FX, Cap, ATM and Points — are in the tier table, not just in the core row.
