The Bitpanda Visa Card is the one-tier crypto card in the Bitpanda ecosystem: Visa-Debit, custodial and designated for the Euro area. Anyone who already has a Bitpanda account pays against exchange credit - not from a self-custody wallet. Compared to multi-tier programs, the profile remains flat: one column, one saveback set, no token lock, and no documented upgrade path in the same program.
Card issue is at EUR 0. Saveback is 1% and is paid out exclusively in crypto, with no documented cap in the features. According to characteristics, foreign currencies outside EUR run on 0% FX markup. ATM withdrawals cost 2% with at least EUR 2 — relevant if cash is a regular occurrence. Apple Pay and Google Pay are documented. Cashout remains in the reward crypto asset; A recurring investment plan path like with broker cards is not the mechanism here.
Custodial means: Credit is with the provider, not on-device and not in a separate wallet signature per tap. This simplifies everyday life for exchange users, but shifts custody and counterparty risk to the platform setup. Without a level matrix, there is no need for CRO or VIP logic - instead, output, rate and cap can be read in one line.
