Overview

Editorial assessment

As a hardware wallet, the OneKey Classic 1S is the entry-level USB stick in the OneKey family: compact form factor, open firmware and open client, dual secure element claim in the data sheet. The more expensive OneKey Pro relies on a touch air gap with QR, fingerprint and a significantly larger housing - the Classic is aimed at users who want multi-chain via cable and app without paying the Pro price. The Pure variant can differ in wireless and battery features; Before purchasing, it is worth taking a look at the features of the specific SKU.

Multi-chain including Solana is documented, as well as iOS, Android and desktop OS. Air gap is missing — transactions run via USB or the documented Bluetooth connection. The monochrome display confirms amounts on-device; NFC is not provided. Open source is the central differentiating feature compared to Ledger Nano models with proprietary firmware.

In terms of price, the Classic is below the Pro line and typically in the middle segment between Nano S Plus and Nano X - the exact RRP values are in the purchase characteristics. This is not a “Classic instead of Pro” recommendation, but rather the classification: less housing, no QR air gap, but cheaper entry-level with an open stack.

Opposite BitBox02 Multi Both share the USB stick idea; OneKey advertises a wider chain list and Bluetooth, BitBox with Swiss origins and microSD backup culture. Compared to Tangem, there is still a stick with a display - even if it is small.

Features, sources and pricing are summarized in the table above; This is about market classification.
