Editorial assessment
OneKey Pro 2 is a hardware wallet and the successor to OneKey Pro, introduced on 8 October 2026. Its focus is interaction, the display and an additional card backup. OneKey specifies a 3.54-inch AMOLED touchscreen, a fingerprint sensor and four Secure Elements. These are documented manufacturer claims; JMRKT has not conducted a hands-on test. Chip certification does not guarantee security of the complete system.
USB-C, Bluetooth and QR signing provide different ways to use the device. NFC is used for tasks including SeedCard backup; this does not mean every phone app signs transactions through NFC. Check the exact route for your asset, app and firmware. The device screen remains the place to understand the recipient, amount and any contract actions before approving.
The order page lists Pro 2 for pre-order from USD 299 on 11 October. This does not establish a confirmed delivery date or final price for Germany. Apple Find My, NFC passkeys and TOTP are explicitly announced for future updates. Portfolio sync also needs care: support still describes it as upcoming. A purchase should therefore make sense based on the functions you need and can actually use.
BIP39 word lists and SLIP39 shares are different recovery formats. OneKey also describes SeedCard as an encrypted card backup. Any optional passphrase must still match the original wallet. When moving from the earlier Pro, verify the backup, accounts and addresses before giving up existing access. SLIP39 is not exclusive to Pro 2: OneKey documents it on Pro since firmware 4.15.0.
