Overview

01

1. Find spot coin purchases in Germany

First check your chosen coin and its documented spot availability in Germany. A provider with many assets does not automatically offer every coin on every interface. Then check payments and withdrawals in its profile.

Check spot availability

02

2. Distinguish the product

With a spot purchase, you buy coins. A crypto ETP is a security in a brokerage account; a perpetual is a derivatives contract with margin, funding and liquidation risk. The label “broker” alone does not tell you which product you are buying.

3. Check costs and sources

Read trading fees together with spreads, fixed fees and possible additional costs. An unknown spread does not mean a free purchase. The cost row and linked provider sources help you distinguish known amounts from costs that remain open.

  • 01

Buy coins through an order book

A centralized order-book exchange matches buy and sell orders. An immediately executed order typically takes liquidity and may incur a taker fee. A limit order is not automatically a maker order: its execution determines that. Then check the specific coin, euro trading route and withdrawal to your wallet. The “CEX” label confirms neither every coin nor all withdrawal networks.

Compare app purchases and recurring buys

The broker selection includes different buying routes. For a coin purchase, check the quoted price and subsequent withdrawal. With Scalable Capital, you trade crypto ETPs; direct coin withdrawals from the broker are not supported. Possible redemption through an ETP issuer has separate conditions. A provider’s general recurring-buy feature also does not confirm a recurring buy for your chosen coin.

    Buy Bitcoin only

This selection compares providers whose documented asset scope is limited to Bitcoin. That answers the coin-selection question, but not the cost question. Check the quoted purchase price, payment route and, if needed, Bitcoin withdrawals. On-chain and Lightning withdrawals may have different requirements and costs; the general withdrawal row does not replace this check.

    Compare perpetuals separately

The Perp DEX selection concerns derivatives trading, not a simple coin purchase. A position’s trading amount is not automatically the equity you put in. Funding payments may apply in addition to trading fees; margin and liquidation determine the risk of loss. A low taker rate therefore does not establish a cheap spot purchase. Read the guide to funding and liquidation before comparing the numbers.

    Check payments and withdrawals

If you want to deposit by bank transfer, check SEPA support and possible additional costs. For self-custody, the provider must support your coin, the correct network and withdrawals. A “yes” for wallet withdrawals alone does not confirm that combination. Check minimum amounts and fees before depositing; a general provider feature is not sufficient.

Frequently asked questions

What do Entry, Spot CEX and Perp DEX mean?

The presets group trading interfaces. Entry: brokers and app purchases, including different coin and ETP buying routes. Spot CEX: centralized exchanges with spot order books. Perp DEX: derivatives trading with margin, funding and liquidation risk. Check the product type even within a preset. No preset is active on the first visit.

How do I find a provider for my coin in Germany?

Check the coin in the spot checker for Germany. Then read the payment route, sources and withdrawal options in the provider profile. A multi-asset provider does not automatically support every coin or network.

Which crypto exchange fits my purchase?

First choose a coin purchase, ETP or perpetual. Then compare payment routes, purchase costs, verification and, if needed, wallet withdrawals. The table supports this selection; it gives no overall score or blanket purchase recommendation.

What does Bitcoin-only mean?

The documented asset scope is limited to Bitcoin. You cannot buy other coins through that offering. Costs, the quoted price and withdrawal routes remain additional selection criteria.

Are the cost values complete final prices?

No. The EUR 1,000 row models documented purchase fees, recorded spreads, and fixed and minimum fees. Deposit and withdrawal fees and further execution costs may apply. An unknown spread remains an open cost item; it is not treated as zero.

Are perpetuals comparable to a coin purchase?

A perpetual is a derivatives contract. Trading amount, equity, funding and liquidation risk differ from a spot purchase. A low trading-fee rate alone does not make it a cheaper coin purchase.

Can I withdraw crypto ETPs directly to my wallet?

An ETP is a security. Scalable Capital does not support direct coin withdrawals from the broker. Possible redemption through the issuer depends on its product terms and may require additional costs and documentation.

Does commission influence the order?

Inclusion and sorting follow the methodology. Linked offers are labelled as affiliate links. Commission influences neither the criteria nor the chosen sort order.
